Annual Parental Notification of Standardized Assessments 
 

New Jersey school districts, charter schools, and renaissance school projects are required by statute (N.J.S.A. 18A: 7C-6.6) to annually notify parents or guardians by October 1 of any statewide student assessment or commercially developed standardized assessment that will be administered over the course of the school year. If, after October 1, it is decided that an additional commercially developed standardized assessment will be administered, the information shall be shared with parents as soon as possible (within 30 days of receipt of the final statewide assessment reports).

To that end, please refer to the table below, which details the schedule for standardized assessments administered in SHRSD this year. Date ranges are provided when specific details have not been finalized. Specific dates and times will be communicated with families for relevant testing events as they become available.
