Governor's Educator of the Year

Each year, South Hunterdon Regional School District participates in the Governor's Educator of the Year (GEOY) program. The intent of this program is to recognize the hard work of outstanding teachers and educational services professionals. We are sharing with you a nomination form if interested in nominating a teacher or educational services professional. You can type directly on the form. Principals will be establishing a building committee to review nominations and make a selection for their building before winter break. We have wonderful teachers and educational services professionals in our schools and now is the time to recognize them for their hard work and dedication to our
students, parents, and community. Please return nomination forms directly to Adam Wright, Principal by Tuesday, November 25, 2025

Be on Time

As a reminder, students are expected to arrive on time and be in their first-session classes by 7:55 a.m. Students who arrive late will be marked tardy and may be subject to the appropriate disciplinary consequences, as well as the potential loss of credit for their first-session class.

Your partnership in helping ensure that students are in school and in class on time is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your continued support.

Late Bus

As a reminder, please remember to sign up for the late bus during your lunch period. Signing up later in the day creates scheduling challenges and may result in your name not being added to the list.

Thank you

Cell Phone Protocols

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, we ask that students place their cell phones in the designated classroom holder upon entering. Each teacher will provide you with a specific numbered spot for their class.
