Important Upcoming Dates

  • October 13- ***School Closed for Students***
  • October 18- Homecoming Dance 7pm
  • October 20- PSAT Testing Grades 10 & 11
  • October 24- Picture retakes

Monday October 20th- PSAT

On October 20th, students in grades 10 and 11 will participate in the PSAT. All tested students should arrive on time and be prepared with a fully charged Chromebook. Students may also bring a calculator for use during the assessment if they wish.

The school will operate on a delayed opening schedule on this day. 9th & 12th grade students who arrive at the regular start time will be directed on a location when they arrive.

Transportation information will be forthcoming in a near future communication.

Be on time

As a reminder, students are expected to arrive on time and be in their first-session classes by 7:55 a.m. Students who arrive late will be marked tardy and may be subject to the appropriate disciplinary consequences, as well as the potential loss of credit for their first-session class.

Your partnership in helping ensure that students are in school and in class on time is greatly appreciated.

From the Counseling Office

Next week we will be visiting Moravian College on Weds 10/15. 

On Weds 10/15, Binghamton University will be visiting South
On Thursday, 10/16, we will be welcoming York College and Cedar Crest college. 

* All sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend these small information sessions to make initial contact with admissions counselors and learn about special offerings from some great schools. 

-We’ll be hosting two Instant Decision Days this fall—this is an opportunity to meet directly with college admissions representatives and receive an admission decision on the spot. 

Moravian University –  Monday, October 27th
Rider University – Wednesday, November 13th

Students who would like to participate need to fill out the Google Form here so we can schedule an appointment and ensure all supporting documents are sent.

Homecoming Dance

This year, our Homecoming Dance will be held on October 18th from 7-9pm. Please see this flyer for details.
 

Late Bus

As a reminder, please remember to sign up for the late bus during your lunch period. Signing up later in the day creates scheduling challenges and may result in your name not being added to the list.

Cell Phone Protocols

Starting in the 2025–2026 school year, we ask that students place their cell phones in the designated classroom holder upon entering. Each teacher will provide you with a specific numbered spot for their class.
 

Senior Day/Homecoming Game

Senior Day/Homecoming Game

Join us on October 17th as we recognize our seniors from the football team, marching band, cheerleaders and girls soccer. Senior ceremony will begin at 6:45pm. The homecoming recognition ceremony will also take place at halftime of the football game.
