English Language Learners (ELL’s) at the South Hunterdon Regional Elementary School are fully integrated in the classroom activities.  They are also offered a pull-out program designed to foster their academic language development. The program is based on World-Class Instructional Design and Assessment (WIDA) Standards.  It follows a model of content based instruction. To develop social and academic language listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities are set up thematically.
